Endfield Gear & Attributes Guide — Assembly Techniques, Sets & Safe Upgrades

A global Endfield gear guide based on confirmed Homecoming systems: Gear Assembly technique switching, the 99% stock-bill discount, templates from trial gear, newly added sets, and how to verify live attributes.

What the official notes confirm about gear

Homecoming expands Advanced Gear Assembly Techniques for gold-quality gear. A compatible piece can switch away from its default technique, and newer techniques remain backward-compatible with older gear. In Gear Assembly → Switch All Techniques, you can preview compatibility across eligible gear, change eligible pieces in bulk, or customize an individual piece.

When using the latest technique, the notes list a 99% stock-bill discount. Always inspect the cost shown in your own Gear Assembly screen before crafting or switching.

Attributes and affixes: verify the live item, not a copied tier list

The published update does not provide a universal table of attribute names, values, best-in-slot rolls, or a one-size-fits-all technique for every operator. Those details can depend on the gear, technique, operator, and version displayed in the live client.

Use this practical check before spending materials:

  1. Open the exact gear piece in the live inventory or Gear Assembly screen.
  2. Compare the attributes and technique compatibility the client displays for that piece.
  3. Confirm the material and stock-bill cost.
  4. Change one compatible piece only when its displayed result serves the operator and activity you are currently building for.
  5. Use the bulk switch only after you have reviewed the compatible group.

This avoids treating a community label for an attribute as proof that it is best for your account.

Gear templates from operator trials

The official notes say that an Arsenal Defense Crate awarded through an operator trial contains a special set of fully artificed Level 60 gear suited to the current trial operator. When your progress reaches Wuling, the corresponding Gear Templates for that set unlock automatically.

The crate and its templates are a published trial reward path—not proof that the template is the only correct setup for the operator. Run the relevant Combat Drill and review the live template details after the required Wuling progress.

Sets named in the current update

Homecoming adds the AIC Fieldwork and Rift Trekker gear sets, and adds new gear pieces to Hot Work, Eternal Xiranite, and LYNX. The official patch notes establish these additions, but do not state a global ranking between the sets or publish a universal operator assignment.

Treat a set name as a prompt to inspect its actual live effect and compatible pieces, not as a recommendation by itself.

A low-risk gear order

  1. Use a functioning piece before chasing a theoretical replacement.
  2. Check technique compatibility and live cost in Gear Assembly.
  3. Prefer the published 99% discounted latest technique when it is compatible and its displayed result fits the immediate job.
  4. Unlock and inspect applicable Gear Templates after reaching Wuling.
  5. Recheck a specific item’s attributes after patches instead of relying on an old screenshot or tier list.
