Endfield AIC Production Planner — Start Small, Connect, Verify & Scale

Build for one current need, not an imaginary final factory

The most reliable early AIC plan is a small line with one purpose you can verify in the live client: supply an immediate material need, test a newly unlocked facility, or learn a new Wuling gas-production option. A large blueprint copied before you understand its inputs, outputs, power, research requirements, and regional limits is harder to diagnose when it fails.

Homecoming confirms that early Wuling access supplies a batch of facilities after you place the Protocol Automation-Core. It does not publish one best layout for every account.

A safe production-line sequence

1. Choose the output you need now and inspect its live Production Chain entry in Database.
2. Place only the facilities needed to test that chain in the current region.
3. Confirm each facility’s displayed input, output, mode, power, and research requirement.
4. Connect the line, then verify that material movement reaches the intended endpoint.
5. Save the working layout as a blueprint before expanding it.

The official notes add a zoom feature to Database → Item Files → Production Chain, and a Files button to weapon details in Database. Use those in-client references instead of guessing an unseen intermediate step.

Conduits: plan the route before placing the long run

Conduit distance is calculated as a straight line and has a published upper limit of 300 m. If a teleport would break a connection, the client shows a confirmation prompt. When saving blueprints that contain conduits, their connection states are also saved; selecting both connected ends together when moving, copying, or bulk-saving preserves that state.

That makes a short, proven line valuable: it can be saved and reused without rebuilding each connection by hand.

Wuling first, Valley IV after research

Facilities provided early after entering Wuling work there, but the official notes say they are not automatically usable in Valley IV. To use them in Valley IV, research the corresponding AIC technologies in the Basic AIC Plan.

If a facility is locked outside Wuling, follow the displayed Basic AIC Plan requirement rather than treating the early Wuling unlock as a bug.

Placement and recovery tools that reduce mistakes

• Pick the desired mode before placing a facility with switchable modes.
• In top view, use the overlapping-target list to select the intended facility.
• Use the map’s Stash button to send wild facilities outside Automation-Core areas to the regional depot.
• Save a blueprint only after its line is working; it will preserve included conduit connection states.

When to expand

Expand a production line only after the current version is stable and the live plan screen shows that you can meet the next stage’s input and research requirements. For Wuling’s gas-related facilities and plans, inspect the exact node you unlocked; the patch notes list new gas systems but do not prescribe a mandatory order.
