Endfield AIC Factory Guide — Wuling Facilities, Conduits & Production Lines
An official-source guide to Homecoming AIC Factory changes: early Wuling facilities, Basic AIC Plan limits, conduit connections, remote stashing, and new gas production options.
What changes when you build in early Wuling
Homecoming lets eligible players enter Wuling early. After entering and placing the Protocol Automation-Core, a batch of AIC facilities is unlocked in advance so you can start production lines in Wuling.
Those facilities are not automatically usable in Valley IV. The official notes say they become usable there only after researching the matching AIC technologies in the Basic AIC Plan. Treat an early Wuling setup as regional support, not a permanent shortcut around every research requirement.
Practical AIC changes confirmed in Homecoming
- Conduit range: conduit distance is now calculated in a straight line, with the upper limit increased from 200 m to 300 m.
- Blueprint preservation: saving a blueprint that contains conduits also saves their connection states. Moving, copying, or bulk-saving both ends together preserves the connection.
- Teleport warning: the client shows a confirmation prompt if teleporting would break a conduit connection.
- Remote stashing: wild AIC facilities outside Automation-Core areas can be sent directly to the regional depot using the map’s Stash button.
- Placement controls: facilities with switchable modes can have their desired mode selected before placement; overlapping targets in top view now provide a selection list.
Wuling gas-production additions
Wuling AIC adds a gas-related mode and published AIC Plans such as Gas Extraction, Flow Rate Adjustment, Gas Reactor Globe, Gas Dispersal, Gas Reaction, Gas Purification, Fluid-Gas Transmutation, Solid-Gas Transmutation, Gas Storage, and Gas Filling & Separation. The corresponding facilities, simulations, and system blueprints are also added.
The official announcement confirms these systems exist; it does not prescribe one best factory layout. Build around the inputs and outputs visible in your own plan screen, then save a blueprint once the line is stable.
A safe setup order
- Unlock or enter Wuling through the early-unlock path.
- Place the Protocol Automation-Core and inspect the facilities provided for the region.
- Keep conduit runs inside the 300 m straight-line limit and save working connections as blueprints.
- Use the map’s Stash action to recover temporary wild facilities instead of abandoning them.
- Research the appropriate Basic AIC Plan before expecting an early-Wuling facility to work in Valley IV.
