Endfield Transmute Guide — Wuling Unlock, Material Conversion & Sanity
The official Homecoming overview of Endfield's Transmute feature: unlock it after Arrival at Wuling, convert certain high-tier materials into lower-tier ones, and use Sanity to increase yield.
What Transmute does
Homecoming adds the Transmute feature to the Crafting screen. After progressing to Chapter II, Process I: Arrival at Wuling, you can convert certain high-tier materials into lower-tier materials. Spending Sanity can increase the transmutation yield.
This is a material-conversion tool, not a new way to turn every item into a higher rarity. The official note only confirms certain eligible high-tier-to-lower-tier conversions, so the live Crafting screen determines the exact materials and costs available to your account.
Unlock and use it safely
- Progress to Chapter II, Process I: Arrival at Wuling.
- Open the Crafting screen and find Transmute.
- Inspect the eligible material conversion and its displayed output before confirming.
- Decide whether the optional Sanity spend is worthwhile for your current material shortage, then complete the conversion.
When it is useful
Use Transmute when your immediate upgrade needs are at a lower tier and the live conversion screen shows a material you can spare. It does not replace normal farming or production planning; it is a controlled way to rebalance a portion of your inventory.
