Start with the official name: Chartered Headhunting

The official notices use Chartered Headhunting for the operator-acquisition banners. This site may call one a “board” for short, but the live Headhunting screen and the matching official notice are the authority for its dates, entry requirement, accepted pull items, featured operator, and available roster.

Do not assume that a rule or reward from one Chartered Headhunting notice applies to every future one. Read the current notice first.

Rate-UP operator

A Rate-UP operator is the character explicitly featured by that Chartered Headhunting notice. Arcane is the Rate-UP 6★ on the currently published North Yearns the Rift Vigile notice; Liino is announced as the Rate-UP 6★ on the next Good Morning from Your Dawnstar notice.

“Rate-UP” identifies the featured operator. It does not, by itself, establish a universal best character, a guarantee about your next pull, or a recommendation for every account.

Published 6★ pool

The published 6★ pool is the list of 6★ operators that a specific notice says may appear on that Chartered Headhunting banner. It is not necessarily the same on the next banner. For example, the published Arcane pool includes Mi Fu, while the announced Liino pool includes Liino instead.

Use the operator availability guide to compare the two published pools and to understand the current three-banner removal rule. Then confirm the active list in the live client before spending.

Combat Drill and preset team

A Combat Drill is an official trial activity that uses a preset team including the trial operator. It lets you see the published version’s combat context without consuming a pull item. The listed reward is claimed through Event Center after you clear the specified trial stage.

That makes the trial a useful first step—not a permanent build guide. The preset team does not prove that the same operator will perform identically with your own roster, weapons, gear, or upgrades. The Combat Drill guide explains the announced format and Arcane’s published reward example.

Pull items and permits

The Arcane notice lists three ways to pull on that board: Gaze North to the Rift HH Permits, Chartered HH Permits, and Oroberyls. These item names and accepted options should always be checked on the active board because notices can be event-specific.

The same notice has two especially easy-to-misread bonuses:

• After 30 pulls, its Urgent Recruitment reward gives 10 attempts that are restricted to that board and do not count toward its stated reward thresholds.
• At 60 pulls, its Headhunting Dossier converts into 10 Special HH Permits when the next Chartered Headhunting banner begins; those permits expire when that next board ends.

These are published mechanics for that notice, not a promise that all future Chartered Headhunting banners share identical bonuses. The Arcane banner guide has the precise currently published thresholds.

A safe character-pull sequence

1. Check that your account meets the active board’s participation requirement.
2. Read the featured Rate-UP operator and the board-specific 6★ pool.
3. Run the Combat Drill and claim its Event Center reward if it is available.
4. Check which permits and currencies the active board accepts.
5. Set a spending limit before pulling; do not treat a trial team or a published threshold as a personal pull verdict.
